Visa: Transferable residency in Kuwait

Salary offered: 400 – 550 KD (as per experience)

Job Purpose:

To oversee, manage, and optimize all production processes in the chemical factory to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective manufacturing of sanitizers, detergents, laundry powder, personal care products, and perfumes in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Operations

  • Plan, schedule, and supervise daily production activities to meet output and quality targets.
  • Ensure production lines operate efficiently with minimum downtime and waste.
  • Monitor process parameters and make necessary adjustments for consistent product quality.
  • Oversee raw material usage and control wastage during production.

2. Process Improvement

  • Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to increase productivity and reduce costs.
  • Implement best practices for mixing, blending, filling, and packaging operations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.

3. Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure all production activities comply with company quality standards and ISO/GMP regulations.
  • Coordinate with Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) teams to address deviations and corrective actions.
  • Maintain proper documentation and production records (batch sheets, process logs, etc.).

4. Equipment & Maintenance

  • Oversee operation, maintenance, and calibration of production equipment and machinery.
  • Report and coordinate preventive maintenance with the engineering team.
  • Suggest upgrades or modifications for improved reliability and efficiency.

5. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)

  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed in handling chemicals and operating machines.
  • Monitor workplace hygiene, ventilation, and chemical storage standards.
  • Conduct safety training and risk assessments in compliance with local regulations.

6. Team Management

  • Supervise production technicians and operators, ensuring proper training and task allocation.
  • Foster teamwork and discipline among production staff.
  • Evaluate staff performance and recommend training or development needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • minimum 5 years of experience in a chemical or FMCG manufacturing environment (preferably in detergents, sanitizers, or cosmetics).
  • Strong understanding of chemical mixing, blending, filling, and packaging processes.
  • Knowledge of GMP, ISO, and HSE standards.
  • Experience in production planning, process control, and troubleshooting.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP production modules.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
