Quality Control Engineer

Role Purpose:
Ensure all precast concrete products meet required quality standards through inspections, testing, and monitoring of production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect raw materials and monitor casting, curing, and finishing of precast elements.
- Conduct concrete tests (slump, temperature, density) and coordinate compressive strength tests.
- Check dimensions, surface quality, and compliance with drawings/specifications.
- Maintain QC records, test reports, NCRs, and checklists.
- Identify non-conformities, lead root-cause analysis, and follow up on corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ASTM/BS/EN standards.
- Support continuous improvement to reduce rejection rates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 2–6 years' experience in precast or concrete manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of concrete technology and QA/QC processes.
Skills:
- Attention to detail, problem-solving, reporting skills, and ability to read technical drawings.
- Strong communication and coordination in a fast-paced factory environment.
