Job Title: Cybersecurity Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Consultant to join our team. As a Cybersecurity Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on cybersecurity matters and implementing solutions to protect our enterprise-class networks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity and experience with threat analysis and mitigation. You will be responsible for analyzing potential threats and developing strategies to prevent or mitigate them.

Our network technology utilizes the McAfee Network Security Platform, which includes the Network Security Manager (NSM) and physical Intrusion Prevention System appliances. You will work closely with our team to ensure the effective operation of these systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on cybersecurity matters.
  • Analyze potential threats and develop strategies to prevent or mitigate them.
  • Implement solutions to protect our enterprise-class networks.
  • Generate reports and update trouble tickets as required.
  • Provide O&M support of the McAfee Network Security Platform (NSP), NSM servers and IPS sensors (GUI and CLI).

Qualifications:
  • Requires an active Secret Clearance.
  • Education / Certification: One-year related experience can be substituted for one year of education if the degree is required.
  • IAT Level: Information Technology (IT) I / Information Assurance Technical (IAT) III.
