Job Title: Event Coordinator with External Events

We are seeking a highly motivated event coordinator to support, plan and execute high-priority external events for Google.

About the Role:
  • This is a fixed-term contractor position with a 6-month contract that can be extended.
Main Responsibilities:
  • The event coordinator will collaborate with cross-functional teams at Google, external vendors and agencies to drive excellent event execution.
  • The coordinator will utilize technical expertise and previous operations experience to execute the entire project lifecycle, including proposal, requirements, project and resource planning, expectation setting, communication, budgets, pilot, build and closeout.
  • The coordinator will provide operations support to deliver successful events.
  • The role will involve liaising with stakeholders responsible for mission-critical events involving Google executives, product launches, developer conferences and other high-visibility events.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in business functions such as marketing, sales and PR.
  • Event management experience at client or agency side.
  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience.
  • Strong communication skills in written and verbal English.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Marketing program management experience.
  • Digital and content marketing knowledge.
  • Fluent Arabic speaker.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
