Key Responsibilities
  1. Record incidents and offenses occurring within a 24-hour period in the Computer Aided Dispatch System and applicable DA Forms.
  2. Prepare and submit complete reports of security breaches, administrative regulations, and special instructions as outlined in general and special orders.
  3. Answer emergency and non-emergency phone calls via landline, VoIP, WhatsApp, or cell phone process, prioritize, and document in the Computer Aided Dispatch System.
  4. Provide emergency notifications IAW notification matrix provided by the USG and ESD Notification matrix.
  5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of radio transmission, broadcasting, control, and operation of telecommunication systems.
  6. Safeguard evidence until turned over to the PMO Evidence Custodian using DA Form 4137, Evidence/Property Custody Document.
  7. Operate the Army Law Enforcement Reporting and Tracking System (ALERTS) and the Emergency Reporting System (ERS).
  8. Monitor fire alarm system equipment, IDS, Closed-Circuit Televisions Systems (CCTV), intrusion detection, vehicle tracking, and coordinates for patrol, fire, or EMS response upon activation.
Qualifications and Skills
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in dispatching emergency services and operating telecommunication systems is preferred.
  • Hazmat Awareness, Telecommunicator I/II, EMD certifications are also preferred.
  • Typing speed of 35 wpm or more is required.
  • Excellent computer skills and interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills are essential.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements

Work is generally conducted with mild exposure to extreme climatic conditions. Employee use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required in certain areas.
