Job Title: Maintenance Manager

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Maintenance Department Field Maintenance Support Buehring in support of a large-scale logistics program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures timely and high-quality execution of maintenance programs, monitoring production schedules and mission milestones.
  • Maintains regular communication with customers to address maintenance performance and overall satisfaction.
  • Collaborates with contract personnel to ensure adherence to contractual requirements, facilitating effective working relationships.
  • Covers a range of operational areas, including logistics management, procurement, inventory control, supply chain, engineering services, safety inspection, Quality Control (QC), Nonconforming Material Management (NCMM) and export compliance.
  • Coordinates staffing needs and technical approaches for task orders solicitations, supporting cost-effective operations.
  • Covers facilities management, encompassing preventive maintenance (PM), Corrective Action Requests (CARs), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Condition Based Maintenance (CBM).
  • Cover operational planning and execution, allocating resources, managing workflow, capital asset management, shipping and receiving.
  • Covers transportation and emergency response operations, explosive ordnance disposal (EOD), Armory, vehicle maintenance, aircraft maintenance, construction management, and environmental health and safety (EHS) programs.
  • Ensures that all assigned program activities are carried out in accordance with employee relations policies, promoting a safe and secure workplace.
  • Sets the example for respect, responsibility, and integrity within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Education/Certifications: High School Graduate required. Bachelor's degree desired.
  • 6-8 years of maintenance experience, with 2-3 years in a management capacity related to similar functions on a Base Operations Support Services contract.
  • A valid driver's license and ability to obtain a U.S. Government Motor Vehicle Operator's License and Kuwait Driver's License are required.
  • Must be Global Combat Support System Army (GCSS-A) Plant maintenance certified.
