We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sous Chef- Italian Concept to join our team at Career Maker Bahrain. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional dining experiences that exceed our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head Chef in menu planning and development, focusing on seasonal ingredients and creative presentations.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure seamless execution of services, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
  • Maintain accurate inventory management, controlling costs and minimizing waste.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, with a focus on cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Contribute to cost control initiatives by analyzing kitchen expenses and implementing efficient procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a sous chef in an Italian restaurant setting, preferably within a high-volume environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine, ingredients, and cooking techniques, with a focus on innovation and creativity.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, remaining composed under pressure and making sound decisions quickly.
