Lead Safety Engineer

The role of a Principal Project HSE Advisor is pivotal in championing the project safety culture, behaviors, and engagement activities.

Main Accountabilities
  • Champion the Project Safety culture, behaviors, and engagement activities.
  • Provide leadership to the PMC Process Manager during EPC / FEED Engineering and Procurement phases.
  • Evaluate the quality and accuracy of EPC / FEED Contractor's Loss Prevention Engineering activities.
  • Review and approve EPC / FEED Contractor's work for compliance with Contract obligations, Project specifications, relevant codes and standards, design philosophy, and Industry best practices.
  • Offer technical guidance to develop new specifications and update existing specifications.
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
  • Prior experience within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Exposure within Refinery and/or Petrochemical project environments.
  • Familiarity with FEED and EPC phases of major Engineering projects.
