Job Title: Planning Engineer
">Key Responsibilities- Oversee project planning functions to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Demonstrate expertise in scheduling, monitoring and reporting across multiple projects with Primavera skills.
- Identify critical path to senior management and ensure proactive measures for project completion.
- SUPERVISE THE PLANNING FUNCTION DURING DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION STAGES OF ASSIGNED PROJECTS
- Maintain performance through Health Safety and Environmental program.
- Achieve safety standards.
- Assess working practices and systems for continuous improvement.
- Conduct work according to Health Safety Environment and Quality systems.
- Manage the Planning Team to deliver a complete Planning/Scheduling service.
- Work directly with clients UEV Cost & Planning to implement Planning processes procedures and systems.
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports as required, and analyze contractors reports.
- Manage Shutdown plans preparation activities ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- Schedule HSE plan activities relevant to HSE issues.
- Liaise with Management Team on cost and planning matters.
- Prepare regular status reports and forecasts for project management and client review.
- Supervise and develop other planning and specialist support staff at home and/or field office locations.
- Establish and maintain activity level integration between P3 and Project Management Reporting tool.
- Maintain current and baseline schedule analyzing the effect of proposed changes and maintaining baseline change control authorization process.
- Quality Assurance – Work within Quality Assurance system provisions and guidelines relevant to Oil Gas Business Unit.
- Safety – Understand and follow OH&S procedures for Oil Gas Business Unit.
Mandatory Requirements
- Engineering Degree
- Hands-on experience in software automation specific speciality
- Proven track record of scheduling monitoring and reporting in multi-project environment with demonstrable Primavera skills.
- Able to highlight Critical path to Line Manager and proactively ensure project completion as scheduled.
