Service and Maintenance Manager Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Service and Maintenance Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional service and maintenance solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing service strategies aligned with corporate objectives, planning and managing preventive and corrective maintenance, and supervising a team of engineers, technicians, and helpers.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement comprehensive service and maintenance strategies that meet or exceed corporate objectives.
  2. Plan, manage, and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities for client projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  3. Monitor departmental KPIs, including response time, fix rate, and client satisfaction, to identify areas for improvement and optimize service delivery.
  4. Lead and supervise a team of engineers, technicians, and helpers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure skill competency and high performance.
  5. Allocate resources based on job priority and technician expertise, maximizing efficiency and productivity.
  6. Conduct regular training sessions and safety briefings to ensure team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  7. Maintain strong customer relationships through timely and professional service, addressing and resolving major client complaints in a prompt and effective manner.
  8. Conduct site visits to assess service quality and offer technical support, guiding the development of service strategies and maintenance plans.
  9. Oversee the technical maintenance of pool systems, including filtration, dosing, heating, and lighting, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency.
  10. Review and ensure completeness of maintenance reports and service documentation, maintaining accurate records of AMCs, service history, and warranties.
  11. Coordinate with other teams, such as Installation and Projects, to address warranty and defect liability matters, and work with Procurement to ensure spare part availability.
  12. Collaborate with Finance on invoicing and AMC management, preparing monthly performance, incident, and feedback reports.

Requirements and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field, with at least 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial position. Proven leadership and team management capabilities, proficiency in pool equipment maintenance, and experience with Microsoft Office, maintenance scheduling software, and ERP systems are essential. Fluency in English is required, with Arabic proficiency preferred.
