The role of the Integrated Billing Analyst I involves collaborating with various departments to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of billing processes. This includes creating invoices, reconciling costs, maintaining accounting records, and providing support for internal and external audits.
Billing Responsibilities:
- Create detailed invoices with supporting documents and research and reconcile costs for fixed-price and reimbursable billings.
- Perform Booked Cost to Billed Cost reconciliations for each contract.
- C coordinate with personnel from various departments to ensure complete and accurate documentation for billing and subsequent collection.
- Monitor and research costs, and request journal entries to ensure costs are accumulated correctly.
- Obtain Statements of Completion of Work (SOCOWs) and apply them to monthly billings as needed.
- Communicate with customers and personnel from various sites to gain and process accurate billing information.
- Assist during audits and periodic reporting.
- Ensure all tasks are performed according to company policy.
General Responsibilities:
- Exhibit positive, courteous, and professional behavior with customers, businesses, and co-workers.
- Assist co-workers and those in other departments to successfully perform job tasks and functions when necessary.
- Follow all safety policies and practices as established by regulatory bodies.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Certifications:
- Microsoft Office certification is required.
- Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in GL accounting and Government Contract accounting is preferred.
- IFS, SAP, and Excel experience is also preferred.
