About the Role:

The Administrative Support Specialist will provide critical support to the Billeting Supervisor and Manager in maintaining accurate records, ensuring a clean and safe living environment for tenants, and coordinating with housing representatives. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process personnel on official government orders, maintaining accurate records and updating the billeting database.
  • Issue linens and supplies to occupants, and monitor key control and billeting records.
  • Provide daily information and coordinate with tenant unit representatives regarding room reservations and issues.
  • Perform custodial services within housing, conduct inspections of shelter and billeting areas, and respond to police calls as needed.
  • Inventory and issue linen on a daily basis, and submit work orders to the help desk on a regular basis.

Requirements:

  • A high degree of English comprehension, including speaking, understanding, reading, writing, and typing.
  • Ability to supervise personnel, be detail-oriented and organized, and have experience with computer systems administration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
