**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Telecommunications Technician Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing the work of junior telecom technicians, ensuring tasks are completed according to industry standards and company policies.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience as a Telecommunications Technician, with expertise in installing, troubleshooting, repairing, splicing, terminating, and conducting site surveys. Additionally, they will have experience using power tools and various test equipment, as well as reading communications drawings/diagrams.

The Telecommunications Technician Lead will provide supervision and guidance to junior technicians while working in the field, ensure all team members are aware of their responsibilities, and provide communications support to the COR and local customer.

This is a critical role that requires excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to analyze and solve complex telecom issues/problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the work of junior telecom technicians
  • Ensure tasks are completed according to industry standards and company policies
  • Provide supervision and guidance to junior technicians while working in the field
  • Ensure all team members are aware of their responsibilities
  • Provide communications support to the COR and local customer
  • Analyze and solve complex telecom issues/problems

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain valid Secret Clearance
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Motor Vehicle Operator's License and host nation Driver's License are required
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Motor Vehicle Operator's License and Kuwait Heavy Duty Driver's License
  • 3-5 Years experience as a Telecommunications Technician, installing, troubleshooting, repair, splicing, terminating, and conducting site surveys
  • 3-5 years' experience in the use of power tools and various test equipment
  • 3-5 years' experience reading communications drawings/diagrams

Working Conditions:

  • Capable of working in extreme weather conditions exceeding 120°F
  • Indoor and outdoor environments with harsh conditions, including hot, dry desert climates
  • May include industrial production environment conditions

Physical Requirements:

  • Light work exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds frequently or constantly
  • May require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing/sitting, and exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents
  • Use of PPE is required in some situations
  • Must comply with all safety regulations and policies
