About the Role:

American International University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lab Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of its laboratories. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of all laboratory facilities, including the coordination of lab supplies, equipment maintenance, and staff training.

Key Responsibilities:

* Coordinate the purchasing and storage of lab supplies
* Evaluate lab technician job performance
* Assist in the creation of lab schedules
* Develop and implement lab safety policies
* Coordinate maintenance of lab equipment
* Prepare and submit budgets, including capital budgets for new equipment
* Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for each lab
* Coordinate annual training for lab technicians and lab instructors
* Coordinate delivery, setup, and training for newly purchased equipment

Requirements:

* Bachelor's or higher degree
* 2+ years of lab supervision experience
* Experience in a supervisory role
* Continuing education in lab management and/or lab safety
* Master's degree or higher
