Embedded IoT Solutions Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Embedded IoT Solutions Specialist to expand our presence in industries such as Automotive, Medical Devices, Industrial Systems, Robotics, and Telco. The ideal candidate will have experience with embedded Linux and RTOS, and be capable of positioning solutions, building relationships, and understanding enterprise procurement and decision-making.

The role involves prospecting, strategic account development, and selling open source, services, and software solutions to organizations developing embedded and IoT devices. Our IoT offerings include Ubuntu Core, emphasizing security and resilience for high-end devices, with customers across consumer electronics, automotive, and robotics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Territory planning and prioritization of security-focused brands
  • Collaborating with marketing to increase brand awareness
  • Developing pipeline through outreach and industry events
  • Closing deals to meet sales targets
  • Managing customer relationships throughout the sales cycle
  • Working with technical teams to understand customer needs
  • Maintaining accurate forecasts in Salesforce
  • Building relationships with key decision-makers

Requirements:

  • Strong academic background and technical degree
  • Experience in field sales, especially in embedded Linux or enterprise software
  • Proven sales success and large account wins
  • Passion for technology and personal projects
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Willingness to travel internationally and regionally
  • Ability to develop and execute sales strategies
