The hotel features 316 rooms and suites, 80 residential suites, and 12 villas, along with seven restaurants, cafes, and lounges, a Talise Spa, a 200-meter private beach, two swimming pools, and a children's play area. The property offers extensive conference and banqueting facilities, including the Badriah ballroom.

Job Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Sales Manager role to join the Sales team at Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa, Kuwait. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the planning, sales strategy, tactics, and activities for the Sales Business Unit (SBU) to ensure all Sales and Marketing (S&M) plans align with the overall strategy.
  • Identifying sales opportunities to cover all market segments.
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with partners to determine strategic goals are met.
  • Ensuring all Promotional Activities (POP) are completed to ensure a successful opening.
  • Monitoring teams' delivery of their Annual Development Plans (ADPs) and sales plans to ensure achievement of sales targets.
  • Ensuring all systems, policies, and procedures are in place for each segment to enable effective selling.
  • Maintaining effective communication within Jumeirah Sales and other departments to ensure thorough understanding of sales strategy.
  • Representing the hotel at road shows, trade fairs, and other events to maximize sales opportunities and enhance the hotel's reputation.
  • Prospecting for and helping team members prospect for new business sources.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with the Kuwait Hotel Owners Association (KHOA)/Government to enhance the hotel's reputation.
  • Assisting with annual rate structure discussions and setting.
  • Maintaining market awareness and communication throughout the team.
  • Delivering and facilitating entrepreneurial selling and Brand message delivery to customers.
  • Creatings strong customer relationships for revenue optimization.
  • Managing assigned accounts to ensure correct business mix.
  • Researching local and regional trends for business opportunities.
  • Executing strategic changes as required to ensure revenues are met.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should have:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a senior sales role.
  • A minimum of 3 years of regional/GCC experience.
  • Experience working in 5-star luxury hotels.
  • Strong relationships within the corporate segment in Kuwait.
  • Experience with data analysis and interpretation.
