About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to work on complex fire detection and signaling systems, with a focus on ensuring compliance with NFPA 72 and UFC3-600-01 standards. You will work closely with our team to identify and resolve issues, perform routine and emergency maintenance, and ensure that all work is done to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the maintenance and repair of electronic intrusion alarm systems and equipment
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance, including inspections, testing, and repairs
- Ensure compliance with NFPA 72 and UFC3-600-01 standards
- Work closely with the team to identify and resolve issues
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in fire detection and signaling systems, including at least 33 months of fire alarm systems experience
- Recognized journeyman or craftsman-level qualification for fire alarm systems, such as NICET level III certification
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Motor Vehicle Operator's License and host nation Driver's License
