Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel and Spa offers convenient access to Kuwait's Central Business District, airport, and major attractions. The beachfront resort features 316 rooms and suites, 80 residential suites and 12 villas, seven restaurants, cafés, and lounges, a Talise Spa, a 200-meter private beach, two swimming pools, and a children's play area. Extensive conference and banqueting facilities are available, including the Badriah ballroom.

About the Job: An exciting opportunity for a Security Officer role has arisen to join the Security team at Jumeirah Messilah Beach - Kuwait. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in protecting Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel, colleagues, and guests by observing and reporting any suspicious activities to the relevant authorities for follow-up.
  • Carrying out foot and vehicle patrols, access control, key management, emergency response, and public relations.
  • Escalating all concerns related to fire, life, and safety issues to the Senior Security Officer or Team Leader.
  • Making necessary entries in security logbooks and registers on a daily basis, ensuring information is useful and detailed.

You will assist the Assistant Security Manager, Security Manager, and Team Leaders, and participate in the implementation of Jumeirah Beach Hotel safety and security procedures. You will also perform any other duties as reasonably requested by management.

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Whilst on duty at the Security Control Room, you will be responsible for monitoring the CCTV system, fire alarm panel, emergency telephone, elevator control monitor, and emergency lighting control monitor.
  • Maintaining files and cleanliness of the Security Control Room.
  • Acknowledging the fire signal and ensuring it is properly relayed to the Security Team Leader or Assistant for investigation purposes.
  • Restricting Control Room access to authorized personnel.

Salary Estimate: KD 1,500 - KD 2,000 per month

Qualifications:

About You: The ideal candidate for this position will have:

  • Hotel security officer experience.
  • Certified Security training.
  • An excellent level of English reading, writing, and speaking.
  • The ability to handle crisis situations effectively.
