Job Overview

Vectrus, Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Maintenance Lead to join our team in Kuwait. This is a challenging opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional maintenance services and leading a team of skilled technicians.

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and results-driven professional who can provide leadership and direction to a section of 11 technicians. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the maintenance and repair of electronic intrusion alarm systems, fire detection and suppression systems, and other equipment at military installations and facilities in Kuwait.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of a team of technicians to ensure that all maintenance and repair tasks are completed on time and to a high standard
  • Provide technical guidance and support to technicians to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their jobs effectively
  • Conduct routine and emergency maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of electronic intrusion alarm systems, fire detection and suppression systems, and other equipment
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure that maintenance and repair activities are coordinated and integrated with other business functions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as electrical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a military or industrial setting
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of technicians
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
  • Ability to obtain host country driver's license
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a hot and dry desert environment, with temperatures often exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit during the summer months. They will also be required to work in secure and sensitive areas, and must be able to comply with all relevant security protocols and procedures.
