Job Overview
">The Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in the success of our organization's Emergency Services Directorate. As a key member of the team, this individual is responsible for coordinating and managing operations across various emergency services, including Fire Department, Emergency Dispatch, Police Desk Operations, Physical Security Mail Screening, Emergency Medical Services, Counterintelligence Screening Team (CIST), Installation Access Badging, and Defense Biometric Identification System Operations.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Collaborate with the Emergency Services Director, external agencies, and internal departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Support program development, recruitment, and quality activities within Emergency Services.
- Develop and direct support for multiple emergency service activities, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
- Engage professionally with military and agency officials, fostering strong relationships.
- Maintain confidentiality as required by company policies.
- Design and standardize processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Oversee processes, review contractual requirements, and ensure compliance.
- Lead special projects such as construction, RFPs, and equipment procurement.
- Recommend improvements to emergency services management and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
">- Bachelor's Degree preferred; relevant experience in Emergency Services Management may be substituted.
- Must be eligible for a Kuwait Driver's License and hold an active SECRET Security clearance.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in emergency services roles, preferably with overseas or SWA deployment experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
- Experience managing diverse teams and working in challenging environments is crucial.
Working Conditions:
">- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions exceeding 120°F.
- Work may involve heavy lifting, prolonged standing or sitting, and exposure to hazardous agents with appropriate PPE.
