- This position will be physically located in Kuwait in support of LOGCAP.
The Operations Manager is responsible for assisting the Emergency Services Director in managing and coordinating operations for all services assigned to the Emergency Services Directorate. These include, at a minimum, Fire Department, Emergency Dispatch, Police Desk Operations, Physical Security Mail Screening, Emergency Medical Services, Counterintelligence Screening Team (CIST), Installation Access Badging, and Defense Biometric Identification System Operations. The role involves overseeing site management, ensuring quality objectives support program safety and operational audits, and preparing briefings and reports as required. The manager provides leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities for staff, aligns organizational goals with company values, and liaises with program management to support mission objectives. They also create Statements of Work (SOW) for subcontracted services, monitor subcontractor performance, and may backfill as the Emergency Services Director in their absence.
Responsibilities- Coordinate closely with the Emergency Services Director, external agencies, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Support program support, recruitment, and quality activities within Emergency Services.
- Plan, develop, and direct support for multiple emergency service activities.
- Engage professionally with military and agency officials.
- Handle confidential matters per company policies.
- Develop and standardize processes to improve efficiency.
- Manage processes, review contractual requirements, and ensure compliance.
- Lead special projects such as construction, RFPs, and equipment procurement.
- Recommend improvements to emergency services management and perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred; related experience in Emergency Services Management may substitute.
- Must be eligible for a Kuwait Driver's License and hold an active SECRET Security clearance.
- Minimum 10 years experience in emergency services roles, preferably with overseas or SWA deployment experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience managing diverse teams and working in harsh environments.
- Capable of working in extreme weather conditions exceeding 120°F.
- Work may involve heavy lifting, prolonged standing or sitting, and exposure to hazardous agents with appropriate PPE.
