Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the service delivery for an assigned area and portfolio of products and services. Your primary goal will be to ensure that Baker Hughes maximizes its short and long-term revenue, profit, and cash collection opportunity by enabling flawless execution, on-time delivery, contract adherence, and cash collection for the assigned jobs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage North Gulf operations for DCF (Kuwait, Qatar, Turkey, Iraq)
  • Lead a Cross Country Team of Direct and Dotted Line Reports
  • Turn around the Business Performance in terms of Revenue OI
  • Manage Key Customer Relationships (KOC, QE, TPAO)
  • Drive HSE Culture improvement
  • Billing & Collections Performance improvement
  • Identify and develop talents within the team
  • Ensure all activities are carried out according to our non-negotiables and our cultural pillars
  • Collaborate with sales/comms teams as well as direct interaction with customers for the assigned area to understand the activity forecast (volume and complexity)
  • Ensure flawless execution and on-time delivery by assigning appropriate resources in line with volume and complexity of forecasted activity and by developing Quality plans in line with our job cycle process
  • Ensure that the team fully understands the contracts/quotes for their assigned job portfolio to ensure we harvest our contracts and collect what we are owed
  • Oversee the budget and P/L for the area of responsibility
  • Develop team in line with competency and training programs for their respective positions as well as future career plans
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college
  • 10-15 years experience in Oil & Gas industry and Drilling & Completion Fluids Operations
  • Strong Financial Acumen
  • Knowledge of chemicals utilized in Oil & Gas industry
  • Excellent leadership, strong interpersonal, influencing and planning skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of function and operation of specialized drilling fluids testing equipment
