This leadership role oversees the daily operation of the Maintenance Department, ensuring alignment with Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements. The director provides operational guidance and supervision to maintain compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitors maintenance program production schedules to ensure timely completion of missions at the highest quality level.
  • Maintains regular contact with customers to discuss maintenance performance and satisfaction.
  • Collaborates with customer contract personnel to ensure adherence to contractual requirements.
  • Cools with stakeholders to coordinate staffing needs and technical approaches for task orders.
  • Ensures direct subordinates understand their responsibilities, authorities, and accountability.
  • Fosters a teamwork-oriented environment promoting quality and a safe working culture.
  • Conducts regular reviews with assigned programs to assess operations, budgets, performance metrics, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensures all activities comply with Vectrus employee relations policies.
  • Provides a safe and secure work environment.

  • Reports on life safety, quality, and maintenance issues.
  • Performs routine inspections of maintenance sections.

Requirements:

  • High School Graduate required; Bachelor's degree desired.
  • 6-8 years of maintenance experience, including 2-3 years in a management capacity.
  • Global Combat Support System Army (GCSS-A) Plant maintenance certification is mandatory.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, with excellent written and briefing abilities.
  • Senior-level interpersonal skills for effective interaction with diverse workforces.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with proficiency in MS Office suite applications.
  • Technical expertise in developing and maintaining quality programs with a customer-centric approach.
