Orthopedic Clinical Coordinator

At DoctorUna, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Orthopedic Clinical Coordinator to join our team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a professional with experience in patient care and management to utilize their skills in a dynamic environment.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patients from the Emergency Department, attending daily ward rounds with the Orthopedic team, and reviewing patients on a regular basis in accordance with the plan of care made by the attending consultant.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Documentation and Communication: The candidate will document review findings in clinical notes in a timely and legible manner, ensuring accurate and comprehensive records.
- Clinical Support: They will cover Operating Room duties as assigned, providing essential support to the surgical team.
- Quality Improvement and Risk Management: The successful candidate will participate in quality improvement and risk management initiatives and policy development, contributing to a safe and effective work environment.
- Health and Safety Regulations: They will comply with Health and Safety Regulations and ensure safe working practices, prioritizing patient and staff well-being.
- Communication and Collaboration: The candidate will report and discuss all unusual findings, complications, or alterations in the management plan with the Specialist and Consultant, fostering open communication and collaboration.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Education and Skills: A Master Degree in Orthopedics is required, along with good organizational ability and excellent communication skills.
- Emotional Strength and Teamwork: The successful candidate will demonstrate emotional strength and ability to assume greater responsibility in matters of patient care, while also being able to deal calmly, with tact, and diplomacy with patients and staff alike.
What We Offer:
We offer a competitive estimated salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This position presents a unique opportunity for personal and professional growth within a dynamic and supportive team.
