Job Title: Registrar of Orthopedics

At DoctorUna, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registrar of Orthopedics to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients from the Emergency Department and provide high-quality care under the supervision of the Orthopedic Consultant.
  • Attend daily ward rounds with the Orthopedic team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Review patients regularly and inform the consultant of any issues or problems.
  • Document review findings in clinical notes in a timely and legible manner.
  • Cover Operating Room duties as assigned and attend to pre and post-operative work.
  • Write orders as required for e.g., Radiology, Laboratory.
  • Discharge patients on consultants' instructions and write discharge summaries.
  • Respond to any adverse occurrences suffered by patients, visitors, or staff.
  • Contribute to quality improvement; risk management initiatives and policy development.
  • Participate in work-related projects at Taiba Hospital.
  • Adhere to Hospital Policies and Procedures.
  • Comply with Health and Safety Regulations.

Requirements:

  • Master Degree in Orthopedics
  • Excellent organizational ability and communication skills
  • Emotional strength and ability to assume greater responsibility in matters of patient care
  • Ability to deal calmly, with tact, and diplomacy with patients and staff alike
