Opportunity:

As a Last Mile Operations Trainer you will play a critical role in shaping the efficiency, safety, and customer service standards of our delivery network. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about operations, people development, and last mile logistics. You will be at the forefront of onboarding and coaching our delivery riders to ensure smooth, safe, and customer-focused deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver structured training programs to both new and existing delivery riders.
  • Train riders on the use of company delivery applications, routing systems, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Educate riders on road safety, traffic laws, and proper goods handling.
  • Ensure riders understand and follow customer service protocols.
  • Conduct regular refresher training to boost rider performance and compliance.
  • Evaluate training outcomes through assessments and field ride-along.
  • Monitor on-ground rider performance and provide actionable feedback and coaching.
  • Support the onboarding, documentation, and orientation process for new riders.
  • Maintain accurate training attendance records and performance data.
  • Collaborate with operations, HR, and safety teams to continuously improve delivery efficiency and rider performance.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a trainer, or in last-mile delivery or logistics operations.
  • Strong knowledge of delivery procedures, safety practices, and customer service expectations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse rider groups.
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and motivate individuals effectively.
  • Familiarity with mobile delivery applications and basic troubleshooting.
  • Good command of local language(s) and/or English, as applicable.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for record-keeping and follow-up.
