HSE Trainer

ROLE SUMMARY
As a highly skilled Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) trainer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging training programs to various employee levels and operational needs. Your expertise in HSE regulations, practices, and procedures will enable you to assess training needs and create effective training materials.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or diploma with minimum 5-6 years of HSE experience in the construction, heavy industrial or infrastructure sector. Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in HSE training or related roles. Certifications: Diploma in safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA) are preferred. Train-the-trainer certification is must. First Aid, Fire Safety, or other relevant industry-recognized certifications.

SPECIALIZED SKILLS
Knowledge of HSE Standards & Regulations - local and international safety standards. Training & Presentation Skills. Communication Skills – Excellent verbal and written communication (English). Assessment & Evaluation - skills to assess trainee performance and adjust training based on feedback and outcomes.

AUTHORITY & RESPONSIBILITY
Authority for the Stop Work, if the situation is Unsafe. Authority to approve training materials and content in line with compliance requirements.
