We are hiring a Junior Project Manager

Our mission is to streamline and accelerate the adoption of open source across the global enterprise technology market. Our Project Managers ensure project success by owning, driving, communicating, and engaging all stakeholders with integrity and accountability.

The role involves managing projects with complex and evolving software technologies, maintaining customer and partner satisfaction through excellent stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Ensuring projects are delivered within schedule, scope, cost, and resources expectations.
  2. Supporting risk and issue identification, and implementing mitigation actions.
  3. Maintaining strong customer focus and collaborating with stakeholders for successful outcomes.
  4. Conducting regular status meetings and business reviews with customers.
  5. Supporting delivery schedules of third-party deliverables.
  6. Advocating for appropriate Canonical technologies to customers.
What we are looking for in you:
  • Exceptional academic achievement in science, software engineering, or IT.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • A solution-oriented mindset and leadership experience in academic settings.
  • Passion for technology demonstrated through personal projects.
  • Professional approach, negotiation skills, and ability to 'make things happen.'
  • Ability to travel internationally twice a year for company events.
  • Additional qualities include curiosity, flexibility, accountability, and respect for diversity.
