Cloud Product & Solution Specialist
Utilizing your knowledge of the Cloud and Cyber Security market, as a Product Specialist you will be responsible for researching and defining the product roadmap, creating the product vision and strategy. This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with stakeholders and sales to define and analyze product requirements and also work in collaboration with the development team to ensure they understand use cases/stories, leveraging prototypes and storyboards to define features.
Core Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate leadership on behalf of the product.
- Be instrumental in defining the product vision.
- Guide the product towards exceeding commercial goals.
- Create PRDs with user stories that are clear, concise and include acceptance criteria.
- Undertake interviews to elicit requirements from customers and stakeholders.
- Be the pivot between engineering, sales, customer success and support.
- Work with engineering management in promoting an agile development methodology.
- Responsible for gathering/capturing business requirements from customers by coordinating with the Customer and Sales Team.
- Understanding customers AS-IS and TO-BE Infrastructure/Application/Security requirements on Cloud.
- Understanding RFP/RFI to capture business requirements and prepare for Technical Response.
- Responsible for creating Optimized Solutions (Sizing, Architecture options, BoM etc.) on Public Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI) and Private Cloud platforms (VMware, OpenStack) based on customer requirements.
- Customer presentations/Whiteboarding of Cloud capabilities and solutions prepared with the ability to explain benefits of TO-BE model.
- Creating Proof of Concept (PoC).
- Creation of Cloud Migration Plan and customer onboarding project plans.
- Participation in public events and writing Technical Whitepapers/Articles/Blogs.
- Internal trainings.
- Help delivery teams in knowledge transition.
Core Areas of Expertise:
- Cloud IaaS, PaaS, SaaS offerings.
- Backup and Disaster Recovery.
- Cloud Billing and Management.
- Cloud Security architecture design and deployment.
Skills:
- 5+ years' experience in Public/Private Cloud solutions.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Cloud Presales with focus on commercials, solution design and migrations.
- B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc (Computers/ Electronics / Telecom) or any relevant M.Sc / MCA / MBA.
- Effective communicator - verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Good communication skills & excellent customer interfacing skills.
- Good analytical/problem solving skills.
- Time management skills & the ability & desire to learn new skills.
- Experience in group product trainings.
- AWS, Azure, VMware, OpenStack, OCI, Backup, Disaster Recovery.
Min. Exp: 3 – 5 years
