Job Brief:
We are hiring an experienced Machine Learning Engineer with a decade of experience in digital oilfield applications. This remote position focuses on developing AI-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency, predictive maintenance, and production optimization in the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and deploy ML models tailored to oilfield production, drilling, and reservoir data.
- Collaborate with geoscientists and engineers to solve real-world operational challenges.
- Develop predictive models for equipment failure, performance forecasting, and optimization.
- Integrate machine learning solutions with digital twin systems and IoT data streams.
- Conduct feature engineering, model tuning, and performance benchmarking.
- Collaborate with ML Ops teams to ensure smooth deployment and monitoring of models.
- Stay updated with advancements in AI and energy technology to drive innovation.
Required Qualification / Experience / Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Petroleum Engineering, or Data Science.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in applying ML within the oil & gas or energy domain.
- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
- Experience with big data systems (Spark, Databricks) and time-series data analytics.
- Understanding of production systems, sensors, and predictive maintenance models.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to deliver ML solutions in dynamic, data-rich industrial environments.
