Job Summary:

The Human Resources Associate is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the market's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations, policies, programs, and practices. This role involves working closely with market Ops Managers, the Human Resources Shared Services team, and Finance to ensure proper policy implementation and support to the operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and execute core HR programs and projects for the market.
  • Build strong relationships with business partners based on credibility, partnership, and open communication.
  • Provide ongoing HR advisory services to management and employees, explaining policies, practices, and offering guidance on resource planning, performance & development, career growth, and employee retention.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the annual HR plan in collaboration with the business and HR functions.
  • Implement initiatives fostering a culture of responsibility for performance, growth, and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in projects and reviews to deliver change and improvements, sharing best practices.
  • Update organization charts regularly.
  • Prepare and update the annual manpower plan to align with hiring needs.
  • Liaise with staffing shared services to fulfill manpower requirements at all store levels.
  • Partner with staffing teams during the interview process for local and overseas candidates.
  • Manage workforce diversity regarding nationality and gender.
  • Ensure proper induction and onboarding for new hires.
  • Coordinate with operations and training teams to maintain a talent pipeline for management positions.
  • Prepare promotion lists, obtain approvals, and coordinate with payroll for implementation.
  • Implement and manage compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain talent, ensuring internal equity.
  • Roll out and oversee the Continuous Performance Improvement (CPI) system, including setting objectives, mid-year reviews, and year-end evaluations.
  • Ensure development plans are executed as scheduled.
  • Support soft skills training for Operations & RSC teams.
  • Conduct communication meetings, address employee grievances, and provide counseling.
  • Administer employee engagement surveys and implement feedback measures.
  • Manage R&R activities and communication tools effectively.
  • Ensure policy compliance, assist in investigations, and enforce disciplinary actions.
  • Promote company values among all employees.
  • Prepare and present detailed HR reports to senior management.
  • Monitor and analyze key HR metrics.
  • Participate in investigations related to employee violations.
  • Oversee performance evaluations during probation and address low performance issues.
