Main Responsibilities
  • This role is responsible for initiating meaningful project control in a multi-project environment.
The Role Involves
  • Manpower planning and forecasting
  • Cost estimating and budgeting
  • Project management plan preparation and implementation
  • Client financial approvals documentation and compliance
  • Cost control engineering and optimization
  • Project scheduling and coordination
  • Change management and risk mitigation
  • Corporate and client cost and schedule progress reporting
  • Managing the document control system

Accountabilities
  • You will be accountable for providing full project controls services for assigned projects.
  • You will prepare and issue comprehensive monthly project progress reports.
  • You will ensure assigned projects are executed according to approved project management plans.
  • You will identify areas of concern and recommend corrective actions.
  • You will implement suitable systems, processes, tools, and procedures.
Functional Management
  • You are responsible for sourcing, developing, and mentoring project controls specialists.
  • You will hold custodianship of project controls systems, processes, and tools.
  • You are responsible for reviewing, auditing, and improving project controls activities.
  • You will demonstrate project controls capability in cost control and scheduling.
  • You will be directly involved in executing key projects.
Requirements
  • You must be self-motivated and proactive.
  • You will be the subject matter specialist for resolving issues.
  • You will ensure the integrity of work scope and comply with applicable codes and standards.
  • You will mentor less experienced staff.
Qualifications And Experience
  • You will possess an engineering degree or equivalent diploma.
  • You must have work experience within PMC projects.
  • You will have experience working with advanced engineering tools.
  • You will have excellent communication and people skills.
  • You will have broad-based knowledge of process engineering requirements.
  • You will demonstrate leadership abilities and manage multiple priorities effectively.
