Project Controls Specialist

As a specialist in project controls, you will be responsible for setting up and executing projects using WorleyParsons project control systems. You will provide expertise to support project teams in utilising the system effectively based on project specific requirements and corporate guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist project control services for project teams.
- Assist in the rollout of the project control system including configuration and training activities.
- Liaise with project teams to ensure correct utilisation of the project control system.
- Review and develop data interfaces for third party project systems.
Additionally, you will take ownership of cost control functions, ensuring integrity of data being processed. This includes interfacing with project personnel to develop project forecasts and analysing project costs. You will also supervise supporting roles in the project cost control area.
You will be responsible for preparing timely and meaningful monthly invoices, ensuring payment according to EPCM contract terms. You will liaise with clients for reporting purposes and prepare monthly financial reports for the project. Other tasks include implementing financial controls, controlling authorisations of expenditure, and cash flow projections.
You must have experience in a similar role and proven track record of initiating meaningful project controls in a multi-project environment. Demonstrable skills in management of project time and cost are essential.
