About This Role
This is a senior leadership position that requires strong business acumen, familiarity with sales tools, and experience supervising and managing sales teams.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for meeting and exceeding individual and team sales goals, representing the hotel at various events and exhibitions, and conducting daily sales calls and site inspection trips for corporate clients.
The role also involves coaching and training sales team members on sales techniques, product knowledge, and strategies, as well as developing relationships within the community to expand customer base for sales opportunities.
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven individual who can lead by example and drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and potential clients.
- Align sales strategies with hotel business strategies to meet goals.
- Handle Corporate, Travel Agency, and MICE business segments.
- Support operational aspects of business bookings, including proposals and contracts.
- Collaborate with Revenue Manager on rate negotiations.
- Conduct sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
Requirements
- Proven success in a similar role and environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Business acumen and familiarity with sales tools.
- Higher degree in Hospitality or related field, with 2 years of experience in a 5-star hotel.
- Experience supervising and managing sales teams and projects.
- Fluency in local language(s).
