Job Title: Maintenance Technician - Cementing Operations
About the Job:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Kuwait. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of equipment used in cementing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out pre and post-job maintenance for all pumping and associated equipment.
- Perform high-pressure reciprocating pump fluid end maintenance work.
- Maintain the batch mixer, filtration unit, and repack centrifugal pumps as needed.
- Mix cement slurries on the fly using jet mixing pumping units or batch mixers.
- Check leaks on high-pressure lines and units on location.
- Be prepared for short-notice field job calls.
- Record pressure charts during jobs using pressure chart recorders and flow and density using electronic chart recorders.
- Participate in pre-job and toolbox meetings with crew members.
- Maintain good working order of equipment according to standards and report problems or deviations.
- Ensure individual and crew work safety.
- Prepare equipment for rig up and rig down times.
- Wear proper PPE and observe HSE policies.
- Maintain required safety training.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A diploma in mechanical, electrical, or any other technical trade.
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in oil field cementing operations.
- A valid Kuwait Heavy Duty Driving License.
