Maintenance Technician - Power Generation

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance inspections, services, repairs, and overhauls of generator sets, small engine driven equipment, and other Special Purpose Equipment.

You will ensure that all work is complete and conforms to standards and requirements outlined in Technical Manuals, Army Regulations, established processes, and local SOPs.

This role requires hands-on and supervisory skills, as well as strong communication and administrative abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on generator sets, small engine driven equipment, and other Special Purpose Equipment
  • Ensure that all work meets quality and safety standards
  • Develop and implement continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance operations
  • Supervise direct labor and subcontractor personnel to ensure compliance with Environmental Safety and Health requirements
  • Adhere to company safety standards and promote a culture of safety among employees and subcontractors
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a related field
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain host nation Driver's License
  • Deep understanding of diesel generator engine models
  • Knowledge of power generation, engine maintenance, and minor overhauls
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams
Work Environment:

This position involves working both indoors and outdoors, with potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions. You may be required to drive for extended periods and wear personal protective equipment in certain areas.
