Production Optimization Engineer

We are seeking a Production Optimization Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. New Product Introduction and Process Improvement: Design, develop, and implement new production processes and optimize existing ones to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
  2. Capacity Planning and Analysis: Conduct thorough capacity analyses to ensure adequate resources for production and identify areas for improvement.
  3. Value Stream Mapping: Create detailed value stream maps to visualize and improve the flow of materials and information throughout the production process.
  4. LEAN Principles: Apply LEAN principles and methodologies to eliminate waste, reduce variability, and improve overall productivity.
  5. Training and Development: Provide regular training and coaching to production staff on LEAN principles, new processes, and best practices.
  6. Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve production-related problems through root cause analysis and collaborative problem-solving with cross-functional teams.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in production engineering, operations, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of processing and assembly techniques, familiarity with LEAN methodologies, understanding of Industrial Engineering concepts, and proficiency in English reading and writing skills.
