Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, advising on, and administering all activities concerned with contracts for works and services associated with oil and gas facilities projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Pre-Award Activities: Manage bid invitation preparation, process queries from bidders, prepare bid evaluation programs, evaluate bids, negotiate, and prepare contract awards.
  2. Post-Award Activities: Conduct kick-off meetings, coordinate contract submittals and correspondence, prepare variation orders, claims, and close-out.
  3. Contract Drafting: Manage the drafting of Invitation to Tender packages for large O&G facilities projects and review client contract conditions.
  4. Risk Management: Review issues with legal, risk management, tax, and accounting personnel before submitting to management for approval.
  5. Negotiation Team Member: Participate in negotiating teams to establish contract terms and conditions.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science.
  2. Professional Qualification: Chartered status (MRICS) or equivalent post-graduation experience.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  1. Extensive knowledge: Contractual Terms & Conditions and Commercial Contract Law.
  2. Experience: Procurement and contract administration processes and principles from preparation to award, administration, and close-out of Contracts.
  3. Procedural Requirements: Strong grasp of procedural requirements and necessity of providing an audit trail for management purposes.
  4. Middle East/Arabian Gulf Experience: Preferred but not mandatory.
