Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Lead Contracts Administrator. This role will be responsible for managing and administering all activities related to contracts for works and services associated with oil and gas facilities projects.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract administration, procurement, and commercial contract law.
  • They will also possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage pre-award activities including bid invitation preparation, processing queries from bidders, and preparing bid evaluation programs.
  • Conduct post-award activities such as conducting kick-off meetings, coordinating contract submittals and correspondence, and preparing variation orders and claims.
  • Draft Invitation to Tender packages for large O&G facilities projects and review client contract conditions.
  • Review issues with legal, risk management, tax, and accounting personnel to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
  • Function as part of a negotiating team to establish contract terms and conditions.
  • Monitor and ensure business provisions of assigned contracts are administered in accordance with contractual terms and conditions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science, Commerce, or Law.
  • Chartered status (MRICS) or equivalent professional qualifications.
  • Relevant experience in contract administration and procurement.
  • Strong knowledge of contractual terms and conditions and commercial contract law.
