Senior Microbiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Microbiologist to join our team in Kuwait. As a key member of our quality control department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of microbiological quality in our products.

• Ensure that all laboratory work is compliant with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to strict safety and hygiene protocols.
• Perform sampling and analysis of water samples, as per SOP, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Analyze starting materials, packaging materials, intermediates, bulk, and finished products using aseptic techniques.
• Prepare specifications, sampling instructions, test methods, and other Quality Control Microbiology procedures.
• Implement environmental monitoring programs within the lab and manufacturing area clean rooms.
• Conserve cultures and ensure laboratory instruments/equipment are calibrated and validated.
• Develop and implement method validation, verification, and testing of method transfer samples.
• Prepare investigation reports for Out-of-Specification (OOS), Out-of-Trend (OOT), and Incident Management.
• Promote continuous improvement in laboratory testing compliance.
• Test stability samples within the window period.
• Prepare Microbiology-related trends reports.

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control microbiology, preferably in a GMP environment.
• Strong knowledge of GLP, GMP, and CGMP regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
