Job Description
This challenging and rewarding role involves:
Ensuring that laboratory operations comply with GLP and GMP regulations
Responsible for cleanliness and maintenance of work areas
Executing qualification and validation of laboratory equipment and instruments
Sampling water samples according to SOPs
Analysis of starting materials, packaging materials, intermediates, bulk products, and finished products using aseptic techniques
Preparation of specifications, sampling instructions, test methods, and Quality Control Microbiology procedures
Environmental monitoring programs within the lab and manufacturing area clean rooms (production and warehouse) as per SOP
Culture conservation (growth promotion)
Ensuring laboratory instruments/equipment remain calibrated and validated
Method validation, verification, and testing of method transfer samples
Preparation of investigation reports for OOS, OOT, and Incident management
Continuous improvement in laboratory testing compliance
Testing stability samples within the window period
Preparation of all types of Microbiology-related trends reports
Good Documentation practices during reporting and documentation
Inventory management to ensure smooth laboratory operation without impacting manufacturing operations
Safety norms compliance as per EHS policy of the site, meeting 100% guidelines
Quality Control Microbiology operational excellence
Timely completion of SOP, GLP, and CGMP training
Supporting value streams in identifying and implementing corrective actions and increasing knowledge of good hygiene and microbial control practices
Writing SOPs or guidelines for analytical equipment usage and laboratory working practices
Identifying procedural or GMP errors within the laboratory and production floor during environmental monitoring
Writing procedures and/or reports for laboratory working practices
Collaboration with plant personnel to ensure microbiologically acceptable processes and facilities

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A keen eye for detail and ability to identify procedural or GMP errors
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Knowledge of GLP and GMP regulations
- Experience in laboratory operations, preferably in a quality control setting

Salary
The estimated salary for this role is KD 2,800 - KD 3,200 per month, depending on experience.
