**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Banquet Manager to join our team at Four Seasons Hotel.

As a key member of our banquet operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of events, while upholding the highest standards of quality and service.

**Responsibilities:

  • Hire, train, motivate, and oversee the Banquet team to deliver exceptional service standards.
  • Develop and maintain training programs to ensure professionalism and consistency in service delivery.
  • Manage staff efficiently, prioritizing tasks and optimizing labor costs.
  • Supervise the care, security, and maintenance of banquet equipment, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Oversee shift supervision, particularly for VIP and high-profile functions, ensuring impeccable service and attention to detail.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to guarantee seamless event execution, from setup to final clean-up.
  • Prepare payroll, gratuity reports, and banquet checks for financial processing, maintaining accurate records and adhering to company policies.
  • Attend catering and operational meetings to stay aligned with upcoming functions, demonstrating proactive communication and collaboration skills.
  • Oversee event setup, service execution, and last-minute adjustments as needed, adapting to changing circumstances with ease and flexibility.
  • Communicate directly with event hosts to understand their expectations and deliver personalized experiences, exceeding their expectations.
  • Monitor staff appearance, professionalism, and compliance with Four Seasons quality standards, maintaining a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Collaborate with purchasing, culinary, stewarding, housekeeping, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless event execution, fostering strong relationships and effective communication.
  • Uphold safety procedures and respond effectively to hotel emergencies, demonstrating a commitment to guest and employee well-being.

**Requirements:

  • A minimum of two years' experience in a similar role within a luxury five-star hotel in the Middle East.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic (spoken and written) is required, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a focus on delivering results.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive and results-driven mindset, able to adapt to changing circumstances with ease.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with a flexible approach to meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations.
