Technical Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Inspector to join our team in Kuwait. As a Technical Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of communication infrastructure installations.

This is a physically demanding position that requires working in extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit. You will be inspecting new infrastructure, current projects, and existing communication installations to ensure they meet the required standards.

• Perform initial, in-progress, and final inspections on new infrastructure, current projects, and existing communication installations.
• Operate test equipment for quality inspection and checking grounding.
• Work with supervisors, engineers, and operations teams on all projects.
• Ensure site survey documentation is up-to-date and drawings are accurate.
• Utilize AutoCAD to create detailed drawings and designs when required.
• Inspect and oversee the work of assigned sub-contracts/sub-contractors.
• Enforce safety policies and procedures in day-to-day activities.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A telecommunication degree is preferred.
• You must have working knowledge of fiber optic and copper cable installation.
• You should be knowledgeable in cabling diagrams, manholes, hand holes, and ducting systems.
• Military or civilian technical training and/or experience as a technical inspector is desirable.
• Certification by an accredited organization and/or equipment manufacturer at the journeyman level is desirable.
• Certified AutoCAD is preferred.
• You must be a U.S. citizen.
• You must meet requirements outlined in AR 25-2 for NIPRNET access.
• You must have customer service, DOD Information Assurance Awareness, and Cross Domain Violation Training.
• You must be able to obtain a host country driver's license.
• You must be Secret Clearance eligible and/or able to obtain a Secret Clearance.

• You should have approximately 2-3 years' work experience as a Technical Inspector.
• You should have approximately 3 years' experience in communication installation.
• You should have knowledge in the communication infrastructure and cabling system.
• You should have knowledge in manhole duct assignment and measuring distance on maps.
• You should have knowledge in Protective Distribution System (PDS).
• You should be familiar with North American or International Telecommunications Standards, Building Industry Consulting Services International -Telecommunications Distribution Methods Manual (BICSI-TDMM), National Electrical Codes, and National Electrical Safety Codes, or their equivalent.

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
