Job Title: Technical Inspector - Armament Systems Maintenance

At Vectrus, we are seeking a skilled Technical Inspector to join our team. This role involves inspecting, analyzing, and examining small arm weapons and complex small arm weapon systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and analyze small arm weapons and complex small arm weapon systems
  • Conduct field and sustainment level inspections
  • Verify equipment condition codes and perform battlefield damage assessment and repair
  • Order repair parts and test equipment to ensure operating efficiency
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Eight to ten years of experience in Armament systems maintenance
  • Expert knowledge of technical and commercial manuals for servicing, operational, and repair
  • Ability to troubleshoot, service, and repair Armament Systems
  • Proficiency in GCSS-Army and maintenance prints

Working Environment:

  • Work is generally conducted indoors but can also be done outdoors with potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions
  • May be exposed to oil, grease, and solvents

Physical Activities:

  • Work may require lifting very heavy objects, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, and prolonged sitting
