Fire Prevention Lead Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Prevention Lead to join our team in Kuwait.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and administering fire suppression and prevention activities of the fire department. This includes planning, direction, and coordination of various activities of the fire prevention services program, including comprehensive inspections of facilities to detect and eliminate hazards. Additionally, the candidate will plan, administer, and supervise the fire prevention education program, assist with developing base fire regulations, training programs, and fire hazard assessment schedules.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in fire emergency services as a Fire Inspector/Fire Investigator, with knowledge of fire prevention and suppression methods, safety principles pertaining to fire protection, and common fire hazards in commercial, industrial, and residential structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform inspection activities in commercial structures and businesses to prevent fires
  • Investigate fires to determine cause and origin and complete all required reports
  • Educate the public on fire prevention and warden duties
  • Investigate complaints and answer questions regarding fire hazards and safety regulations
  • Survey fire protection facilities and maintain inspection records
  • Instruct fire personnel in fire prevention techniques
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • DOD, IFSAC, or National Pro-Board Certifications: Public Fire and Life Safety Educator, Fire Inspector II, Fire Instructor I (preferred), Fire Officer I (preferred), Fire Investigator (preferred)
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a valid Secret Clearance
  • Able to work in extreme weather conditions and physically demanding environments
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in an indoor and outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions, including extreme temperatures, dust, and other hazardous materials.
