Job Summary

As a Payment Operations Manager, you will play a key role in enhancing payment productivity and accuracy by implementing effective resolution strategies and ongoing payment operation improvements. Your primary focus will be on ensuring all activities adhere to risk policies, procedures, and compliance regulations.

Main Responsibilities
  1. CORPORATE GOVERNANCE:
  • Evaluate the payments and operations unit, identify gaps, and develop performance improvement strategies.
  • Monitor payment processing accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency daily.
  • Review current payment engine and recommend enhancements.
PROBLEM-SOLVING AND ANALYSIS:
  • Analyze payment trends to identify improvement areas.
  • Solve discrepancies and errors, implement corrections, and recommend process improvements.
  • Collaborate with IT, AML, Treasury, Compliance, and Operations to resolve issues and improve workflows.
RISK MANAGEMENT AND COMPLIANCE:
  • Ensure all activities adhere to risk policies, procedures, and compliance regulations.
  • Identify, manage, mitigate, and report on risks in divisional activities.
TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT:
  • Develop a comprehensive training program for staff in payments and operations.
  • Liaise with external entities like SWIFT and service providers.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in payment processing, accounting, or related roles.
  • Skills: Operational and technical problem-solving, analytical abilities, timely and accurate reporting.
