Field Service Specialist Role

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Specialist - Pressure Control to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our global cross-functional teams.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring the efficient operation of our oilfield equipment, including the installation, maintenance, and repair of surface wellheads and X/Tree systems. You will work closely with our workshop teams to meet loadout deadlines and ensure that all equipment is properly inspected before being sent offshore.

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of technical drawings and the ability to use company e-tools to retrieve technical documents. Additionally, you should have experience with installing and maintaining surface wellheads and X/Tree systems, including HPHT (High Pressure High Temperature) and Metal to Metal connections.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Installation and Maintenance: Perform on-site installation of systems and equipment, as well as ongoing preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration after installation.
  • Emergency Repairs: Respond to requests for emergency repairs and services to troublesome equipment.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical instruction and assistance to customer representatives regarding installation, operation, calibration, repair, and maintenance at customer sites.
  • Training and Development: Plan, prepare, and/or instruct both internal and external training programs to impart and perpetuate field engineering and/or product knowledge in area of specialization.
  • Leadership and Direction: Provide leadership and technical direction to skilled labor performing work on customer sites.
  • Safety: Maintain a strong safety mindset to assure the executed work reflects the technical requirements within BH safety standards.

You will also be responsible for preparing timely and accurate technical reports for customer records and as a reference for future outages.
