We are seeking a talented and skilled Mechanical Technician to join our multicultural and diverse team in Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing day-to-day shift activities, repairs, and attending both planned and unplanned shutdowns. Key responsibilities include inspecting and maintaining equipment such as EAF, LF, CCM, EOT Cranes, raw material handling systems, FTP, fans, pumps, and air compressors.
Responsibilities:- Perform maintenance activities (preventive and corrective) as per SAP work orders and provide proper feedback.
- Inspect equipment in assigned areas, report abnormalities, and record findings in logbooks and SAP checklists.
- Correct identified abnormalities under supervision.
- Attend to breakdowns promptly to minimize delays and unplanned shutdowns.
- Implement and follow management instructions.
- Coordinate with other departments and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Execute daily shift activities and address ongoing issues.
- Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and facilities, carry out repairs, and keep spare parts ready.
- Study systems, handle tools properly, ensure safekeeping, and work efficiently to reduce maintenance costs.
- Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician in a steel melting plant.
