Business Development Representative for Energy Solutions

We are seeking a Business Development Representative for Energy Solutions, who will directly contribute to generating revenue growth through the sale of Aspen Tech software solutions and professional services.
This individual will drive consultative discussions to position Aspen Tech software and services solutions with our customers, renewing and growing our business.
Key Responsibilities:
• Proven experience using subsurface geomodelling software for static modelling of reservoirs (O&G, Geothermal, CCS or Upstream related applications).
• Achieve quarterly and annual sales quota.
• Develop and manage the sales pipeline to meet assigned objectives.
• Coordinate account meetings and provide sales and executive management with regular updates, forecasts, etc.
• Lead multidivisional account teams and work collaboratively on global account opportunities.
• Develop and maintain customer contacts at assigned accounts.
Minimum Qualifications:
• University degree preferred.
• Extensive experience selling to customers in the Energy/Petroleum/Engineering industry.
• Demonstrated track record in successful direct sales of software solutions.
• Ability to establish and cultivate 'C' level consultative relationships.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Self-discipline and motivation to produce results with indirect supervision.
• Specific industry knowledge and experience.
• Familiarity with Aspen or similar products.
• International company experience.
