Job Title: Aviation Training Director for VATSIM Kuwait

VATSIM is a global network of virtual air traffic controllers and pilots who use simulation software to recreate real-world scenarios. We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to serve as the Training Director for our Kuwait division.

The Training Director will be responsible for overseeing all training-related activities within the division. This includes managing the development and delivery of training programs, ensuring that all trainees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively, and providing guidance and support to trainees as needed.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Training Director will also be responsible for:
  • Managing the division's training resources, including developing and updating training materials and conducting regular assessments to ensure that they remain relevant and effective.
  • Providing input on the development of new training programs and initiatives, and working with other members of the division to implement them.
  • Coordinating with other divisions within VATSIM to ensure that training programs and initiatives are aligned and consistent across the network.
  • Maintaining accurate records of training activities, including attendance and assessment data, and providing regular reports to management on training progress and outcomes.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
  • A strong background in aviation or a related field, with a minimum of 100 hours of experience as a controller on the VATSIM network.
  • Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with trainees, colleagues, and management.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and professional development, with a willingness to stay up-to-date with changes and developments in the field of aviation simulation.
